Only two weeks to go before we leave for our big adventure - heading up north from Adelaide to Darwin via Coober Pedy and Alice Springs, and then home via Kakadu, Broome and the WA coastline. We leave on July 3. 100 nights in the caravan for our family: Andrew, Sandy and the three girls - Kendall (10), Kirralee (8) and Tahlia (nearly 7).
Our caravan has a new awning and the car has been serviced....... there goes the helicopter ride over the Bungle Bungles! Just need to work out how to fit all our clothes and toys into the van. Do we really need five fishing rods?
Nick reckons five fishing rods sounds about right... you can always pick up a couple more on your journey if it doesnt turn out to be enough :-)
